Johns Hopkins Bayview in Baltimore seeks a Clinical Nurse to deliver and coordinate urogynecology patient care, applying nursing knowledge within the department of SOM OB GYN Bay Gynecology Obstetrics Bay.

The role requires Maryland RN licensure, a Bachelor’s in nursing, and 2+ years OB-GYN/Women’s Health experience with CPR/First Aid certification. You’ll support providers, conduct procedures, and mentor staff in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Qualifications

• First Aid/CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

We are seeking a Clinical Nurse who will apply nursing knowledge and skills to the delivery of individuals and/or population-based patient care. Provides and coordinates care to patients according to Hopkins vision and mission. Activates resources from all disciplines and collaborates to achieve outcomes for patients and functional units (social work, nutritionist, Home Health, etc.).

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in care of age specific populations (completes annual update).

• Maintain a compassionate environment and support others in doing the same (service excellence).

• Synthesized patient data using theoretical and experiential knowledge: initiates/informs appropriate personnel for corrective action (assures patient labs are tracked-forward results to appropriate provider, documents lab results on flow sheet as needed, addresses patient phone calls, assessing patient needs and relays information to provider).

• Assist provider by taking patient history, blood pressure, and pulse, draw blood, give injections and perform office laboratory testing, assisting with biopsies and pap smears.

• Uses established chain of command to address unresolved clinical issues. Develops, implements, and modifies patient teaching.

• Provide patient triage. Provide instructional classes as needed for urogyn patients.

• Work with Urogyn team members (MD’s, RN’s, CMA’s, etc.) to develop and follow plan of care.

• Attend weekly meetings. Assist providers with office procedures, inbasket management, etc .

• Independently perform certain procedures relevant to urogynecologic care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse, licensed in the State of Maryland, required.

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related discipline required.

• Minimum of two (2) years OB-GYN experience or direct experience in Women's Services/ Women's Health/ Urogynecology, highly preferred.

• Must be First Aid/CPR certified.

• Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Starting Salary Range: $66,215 - $116,130 Annually ($91,225 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.
