Job summary

Johns Hopkins Community Physicians is seeking an RN Triage to join our Family Practice team in Columbia, MD. The RN coordinates care, responds to calls and MyChart messages, and educates patients on acute and chronic conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelors' Degree, Associate degree, or Diploma in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current MD Registered Nurse license (Required)
• Current CPR certification (Required).
• Minimum one (1) year experience (Required)
• Two (2) years experience as licensed RN (Preferred)
• Previous experience in Family Practice Ambulatory setting (Highly Preferred)
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Team player!

Responsibilities

• Responds to incoming patient calls, and MyChart messages requiring triage of urgent symptoms.
• Provides patient education for acute and chronic medical conditions.

Salary Range:

Minimum 39.64/hour - Maximum 61.45/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
