DeTar Healthcare System, a Victoria, TX-based hospital, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.

You will work in a team-focused environment, uphold infection control and safety standards, and support patients and families through care planning and education.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations required.
• RN state licensure and/or compact licensure required.
• BCLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings.
• Administers medications and monitors for side effects.
• Collaborates with physicians and the care team to develop care plans.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR/code team activities.
• Educates patients and families on care and post-discharge steps.
• Adheres to infection control protocols and safety standards.
