Job summary

DeTar Healthcare System in Victoria, Texas seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care across our two hospitals. You will follow the nursing process and collaborate with physicians and teams to deliver safe, compassionate care.

The role includes obstetrics, labor/delivery, postpartum, and nursery duties, as well as general med-surg care. We offer career growth, a supportive environment, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Texas or a compact state is required.
• BCLS certification is required; ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with policies and nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency.
• Develops and evaluates individualized care plans with the team.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities.
• Educates patients and families on care and discharge plans.
