Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks a Registered Nurse specialized in Obstetrics for a 13-week travel assignment in Kansas. The RN will cover OB and Med Surg, with a 6 PM to 6 AM shift and 12-hour shifts, while OB is 1:1 and Med Surg is 1:3.

Must have OB and Med Surg experience; KS or Multistate license required, plus BLS, ACLS, NRP and Fetal Heart Certification. Flu vaccine is preferred, with exemptions allowed, and local travelers are welcome.

Qualifications

• KS or Multistate RN license required.
• CPSI/Perigen charting experience preferred.
• Ability to take charge occasionally.
• BLS/ACLS/NRP via AHA.

Responsibilities

• RN will work primarily Med Surg as needed and may work more Med Surg than OB.
• Backfill role supporting OB and Med Surg units.
• Maintain 1:1 OB and 1:3 Med Surg patient ratios.
• Occasionally assume charge duties.
• Local travelers accepted at the same rate.

Description:

Must have OB and Med Surg experience.

This position is for backfill.

The RN will work primarily Med Surg as needed and may work more Med Surg than OB.

The facility has a 1:1 OB patient ratio and an average 1:3 Med Surg patient ratio.

There will not be any Charge differential.

Any color scrubs are acceptable.

Local travelers are accepted at the same rate.

BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications must be via AHA.

A flu vaccine is strongly preferred, but religious and medical exemptions are accepted.

Individuals may decline the vaccine but will be required to wear a mask during flu season.
