Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Kentucky is seeking a qualified Staff Development Coordinator (RN) to lead training and education for the nursing team across our facilities. A current RN license and CPR certification are required, with at least 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in long-term care.

You will develop in-service training, assess competency, and provide one-on-one coaching to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current state licensure.
• Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in a health care setting; long-term care setting preferred.
• Must have a current/active CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement job skills training, in-service education as required by regulations and employee health monitoring for the nursing department employees.
• Regularly check the competency of CNA skill performance, provide 1:1 instruction when necessary.
• Provide skill training to new staff in any deficient area before allowing the nursing assistant to perform the task with a resident.
