Job summary

Covenant Living in Illinois is seeking a Nursing Supervisor, RN to supervise nursing staff across assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care. The role requires an active IL RN license and at least 2 years of nursing and supervisory experience. You will ensure quality of care, coordinate with the DON, and provide staff training and resident communications.

Responsibilities include rounds, policy explanations, emergency care, and maintaining safe, compliant operations within the facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Must be currently licensed as an RN in the State of Illinois.
• 2 years nursing experience required.
• 2 years supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise professional and non‑professional nursing staff.
• Make rounds to ensure quality of care, resident satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage the overall building function for the assigned shift.
• Provide explanations of policies and procedures and staff training.
• Coordinate with DON on staff evaluation, discipline, and motivation.
• Explain nursing care to residents and families and instruct on medical care as appropriate.
• Administer direct and/or emergency care as needed and respond to emergencies.
