Job summary

AtIvory Nursing & Rehab is seeking an RN Nursing Supervisor to coordinate total resident care across nursing units. The role requires advanced nursing experience with supervisory responsibilities and ability to manage shifts, administer medications, and ensure compliance with facility policies and state regulations.

The position emphasizes leadership, training of staff, and maintaining high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• RN must graduate from an accredited nursing program and hold current state license.
• Experience in the nursing field is required.
• Supervisory experience in long-term care is required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies daily staffing and redistribution.
• Collaborates with charge nurses to exchange resident care information and plan nursing process.
• Makes rounds to assess resident conditions, especially critically ill residents.
• Ensures the individual nursing care plan is followed for each resident.
• Performs medication passes and direct resident care as needed.
• Participates in resident care committee meetings.
• Reinforces training and orientation of nursing staff.
• Responds to emergencies throughout the shift and maintains safety.
