Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care Group in Riverton, UT is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to partner with the Director of Nursing in managing the Nursing Services department and ensuring compliant, compassionate care.

The ADON will supervise staff, assist in admissions decisions, contribute to QAPI, and coordinate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to maintain resident well-being. This is a full-time, on-site leadership position.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current unrestricted RN license in practicing state.
• Knowledgeable of long-term care laws and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, implementing and directing day-to-day Nursing Services operations.
• Interpret and communicate policies to nursing staff and monitor practices.
• Participate in admissions decisions as indicated.
• Participate in QAPI and facility assessment activities as needed.
• Ensure adequate staff coverage, safety, and quality of care on units.
