Job summary

Logan Health Medical Center seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as a Nursing Operations Supervisor. This hospital-wide leadership role oversees patient care and administrative activities, coordinating staffing and patient flow while acting as a clinical resource for staff.

Ideal candidates bring five+ years of acute care experience, leadership background, and ICU exposure. The role includes on-call responsibilities and opportunities for professional development and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN License or multi-state compact license to practice nursing in Montana.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years’ recent acute care (inpatient) nursing experience.
• Minimum of one year leadership experience (Lead, Charge, or Shift Unit Supervisor).
• Critical Care or ICU experience preferred.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days if hire/transfer or before independent patient care.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer; PALS within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software.

Responsibilities

• Oversees patient care and administrative activities across inpatient units.
• Coordinate staffing, bed management and patient flow to optimize throughput.
• Conduct annual performance appraisals and provide regular feedback to staff.
• Participate in hiring decisions, corrective actions and staff development.
• Respond to on-site emergencies and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
