Job summary

Logan Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as Nursing Operations Supervisor, overseeing patient care and administrative activities across the hospital. The role acts as on-site administrator with authority to make time-sensitive decisions and coordinate staffing, bed management, and patient flow to support care delivery.

Ideal candidates have critical care/ICU experience, 5+ years in acute care, and leadership exposure (Lead, Charge, or Supervisor).

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN license (or compact license) required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Minimum five years of acute care (inpatient) nursing experience.
• Minimum one year of leadership (Lead/Charge/Unit Supervisor).
• Certifications: BLS within 7 days, ACLS within 6 months, PALS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care and administrative activities hospital-wide.
• Coordinate staffing, bed management, and patient flow.
• Lead and mentor nursing staff; conduct performance appraisals.
• Make time-sensitive administrative decisions and notify Administrator On Call.
• Respond to emergencies (Code Blue, Stroke, Rapid Response) on site.
• Partner with leadership to optimize throughput and care delivery.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Education

BSN degree preferred

Montana RN License or multi-state compact
