Job summary

Sevita is seeking an experienced RN Nursing Manager to lead a nursing team and provide comprehensive nursing services. The role is full-time, on-site, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a salary in the 90k–95k range.

You will supervise LPNs and RNs, oversee nursing assessments and care plans, and collaborate with the Medical Director to ensure high-quality care for individuals with complex needs. A valid RN license and five years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with medically and/or behaviorally complex individuals.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support a team of LPNs and RNs; evaluate performance and address issues.
• Direct the quality of nursing assessments, nursing diagnoses, plans, implementation and evaluation.
• Monitor the nursing delegation process with the Medical Director.
• Ensure required training is completed, review delegation decisions, and develop procedures for assigned tasks.
• Conduct the medical assessment of referred individuals and collaborate with Intake Coordinator for placement.
• Oversee and coordinate the nursing intake process, service plan, MDS, and related meetings.
• Develop and lead medical/clinical training with the Medical Director.
• Apply expert clinical judgment based on standards, codes, policies, and Quality of Care.
• Evaluate nursing staff’s knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies.
• Conduct ongoing QA audits and implement improvements.
• Develop and implement nursing QA systems to document evaluation processes.
• Act as liaison with state and community health agencies and providers; build resources.
• Coordinate care using community resources with Clinical Team.
• Participate in service plan development and supervise medical components with physicians.
• Review and revise nursing-related care plans regularly.
• Oversee high-risk medical conditions and private duty nursing management.
