Job summary

Sevita, including ResCare Community Living in Austin, TX, is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead a program delivering health care services and to supervise registered nurses.

You will ensure quality of care, compliance with licensing, and collaboration with AMAP staff, while supporting person-centered plans and budgeting. This full-time role requires RN licensure, 5 years' experience with 3 in management, and willingness to obtain AMAP certification if needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Nursing Program.
• Five years’ experience, including three years of management experience, with the population being served.
• RN licensure and AMAP certification or willingness to obtain within the first 60 days.
• First Aid/CPR certification within 30 days.
• Valid driver's license and ability to transport consumers if needed.
• Other training in consumer behavior and care within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Directs a department or program delivering health care services and supervises RNs and LPNs.
• Ensures quality standards of care and compliance with licensing requirements.
• Maintains medical records and confidentiality; oversees IPP and funding considerations.
• Provides crisis intervention and infection control procedures.
• Assists in admission and discharge planning for medical components.
• Performs other related duties as required.
