Sevita, a leading provider of home and community-based health care, seeks a Nursing Manager for Mentor Community Services in Texas. The role oversees RNs and LPNs, ensuring high-quality medical services, policy compliance, and staff development in a mission-driven environment.

You will collaborate with AMAP staff, maintain medical records, and ensure adherence to licensing and regulatory requirements while promoting person-centered care and safety for the individuals served.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Nursing Program.
• Five years’ experience, including three years of management experience, with the population being served.
• Certification/Licensed as a Registered Nurse.
• AMAP approved nurse or willing to obtain certification within 60 days.
• Valid Driver’s license and vehicle insurance if transporting consumers.
• First Aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
• Other training in consumer care within 90 days of employment.

Mansioni

• Directs a department delivering health care services to clients and oversees RNs and Licensed Practical Nurses.
• Provide professional guidance on medical policies and ensure quality standards are met.
• Monitor rights, safety, and welfare of individuals served and promote self-direction.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, AMAP rules, and federal/state regulations.
• Supervise AMAP staff and oversee medication administration per state law.
• Maintain medical records confidentiality and timeliness for eligibility and services.
