Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Nursing Administration Supervisor for 36 hours per week in Charlotte, NC, overseeing operations on the Cleveland Atrium Health campus. This full-time role emphasizes staffing, patient flow, and regulatory compliance within a nursing administration context.

You will guide staff through policy interpretation, coordinate cross-shift communications, and support safe, efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• Two years nursing experience preferred.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• BSN required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates administrative problems and actions to nurse leader and senior leaders.
• Guides staff on laws and policies governing nursing practice.
• Coordinates shift communications and huddles to share information.
• Assists with optimal use of resources to meet patient care needs.
• Supervises nursing personnel and documents corrective actions as needed.
• Provides guidance on administering treatments and emergencies.
• Manages patient flow and staffing across shifts with care teams.
• Monitors staffing levels using Float Pool and PRN personnel as needed.
