Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an RN Administrative Supervisor to join the Nursing Service Management Team. The role ensures quality patient care by adjusting staffing on each nursing unit based on worked hours per patient day, staff mix, and acuity.

The Supervisor will serve as a clinical resource and role model for staff nurses. This position has the authority to direct the Nursing Service Department in the absence of the Directors and Chief Nursing Officer, and may take on additional duties within

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required
• BSN preferred
• Minimum 18 months as a RN required
• Hospital supervisory/managerial experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assure quality patient care by adjusting staffing on each nursing unit based on worked hours per patient day, staff mix and acuity.
• Serve as a role model and clinical resource for staff nurses.
• Direct the Nursing Service Department in the absence of Directors and Chief Nursing Officer.
• Additional duties may be assigned within scope of the role.
