Job summary

Baptist Health in central Alabama seeks an RN Administrative Supervisor (PRN) to join the Nursing Service Management Team. The role ensures quality patient care, participates in staffing decisions, and serves as a clinical resource and role model for staff. Additional duties may be assigned within scope.

Requirements include nursing degree, active RN license, and certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS; chemotherapy administration). Previous supervisory or managerial hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 18 months as a RN required.
• Active RN license required; BLS, ACLS, PALS, chemotherapy administration certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide staff supervision and clinical resource to nursing staff.
• Adjust staffing by monitoring hours per patient day, staff mix and acuity.
• Serve as role model and clinical resource; direct Nursing Service Department in absence of Directors and CNO.
• May have additional duties within scope of role.
