Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires active RN license (BLS/ACLS/PALS may be required)
• Experience in hospital supervisory or managerial role preferred
• Demonstrates leadership, judgment, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Adjust staffing to ensure adequate coverage on each nursing unit
• Monitor worked hours per patient day, staff mix, and acuity to maintain quality care
• Serve as a role model and clinical resource for staff nurses
• Direct the Nursing Service Department in the absence of Directors and Chief Nursing Officer
