Job summary

Baptist Medical Center East is seeking an RN Administrative Supervisor (PRN) to join the Nursing Service Management Team. You will oversee staffing, adjust hours per patient day, monitor acuity and staff mix, and serve as a clinical resource for staff nurses.

The role requires a nursing degree, active RN license, and certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, chemotherapy). Previous supervisory or managerial experience is preferred, with BSN preferred. This is a PRN, on-site position in Montgomery, AL.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 18 months as a RN.
• Active RN license required, BLS, ACLS, PALS and chemotherapy certification required.

Responsibilities

• Adjust staffing on each unit by hours per patient day, staff mix and acuity.
• Serve as role model and clinical resource for staff nurses.
• Direct Nursing Service Department in the absence of Directors and Chief Nursing Officer.
• May have additional duties within scope of role.
