Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Illinois required.
• One year experience with adults who have developmental disabilities preferred.
• Ability to train Direct Support Professionals in health and safety and medication procedures.
• Strong documentation and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care per DHS Rule 116.
• Train DSPs in health/safety and medication administration.
• Annual assessments of clients' physical/medical status and histories.
• Review and monitor medication orders; maintain MAR records.
• Maintain training and evaluation records for staff; ensure compliance.
