Job summary

YAD Management is hiring a Nurse Supervisor (RN) to manage nursing care on the shift, administer medications, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role provides supervision to nursing staff and ensures safe, high-quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current State License as a RN.
• CPR Certified

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to Residents in an environment that respects their rights and dignity.
• Supervise RNs, LPNs and CNAs and ensure tasks are completed.
• Supervise direct care of residents and nursing staff on shift.
• Provide and receive shift reports.
• Rounds the unit to ensure safe, clean care.
• Keep physicians and families informed of changes in residents’ condition.
• Assist in developing comprehensive care plans.
• Document care and maintain confidentiality in medical records.
• Maintain infection control and safety precautions during care.
• Maintain resident comfort, privacy, and a respectful environment.
• Respond promptly to call lights.
• Assist with admissions, readmissions, and transfers between rooms.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Attend departmental meetings and in-services.
