Job summary

Northbrook Behavioral Health Hospital. seeks a Nurse Supervisor for weekend night coverage (11 PM–7 AM) on Saturdays and Sundays, every other weekend, to oversee inpatient behavioral health services. You will lead nursing staff, ensure high-quality care, and collaborate with families and the care team.

Qualifications include current NJ RN licensure, strong leadership, and excellent communication. Prior behavioral health and supervisory experience is preferred in a fast-paced hospital setting.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Supervisor to join our Behavioral Health team at Northbrook Behavioral Health Hospital. This is a part-time position weekend only (11PM-7AM) Saturday & Sunday (Every Other Weekend).

As a Nurse Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of our inpatient behavioral health services. Your exceptional leadership skills, clinical expertise, and passion for providing high-quality care will enable you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, ensuring that high-quality patient care is delivered in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Staff Management: Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing ongoing coaching, training, and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient outcomes, reduce readmissions, and improve staff satisfaction.
• Communication: Foster open and effective communication among staff, patients, and families, ensuring that all parties are informed and engaged in the patient's care.

Requirements

• Experience in behavioral health required, inpatient experience preferred
