Job summary

Northbrook Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to oversee the inpatient behavioral health unit with a minimum of 3 per diem shifts per month. Shifts include various night and day blocks (e.g., 11pm-7am, 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm).

You will provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and drive quality improvements in a fast-paced environment. Required are current NJ RN licensure and strong leadership/communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in behavioral health required, inpatient experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Current NJ RN licensure.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to nursing staff and ensure high-quality patient care.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff with coaching and training.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to improve outcomes and reduce readmissions.
• Foster open communication among staff, patients, and families.
