Job summary

Luther Manor is seeking a RN Nurse Supervisor for PT 3rd shift and FT 2nd shift. The Nurse Supervisor coordinates nursing services and monitors residents' health status to ensure they are healthy, safe, and well cared for.

The role directs, supervises, and coordinates nursing services on assigned shifts and acts as the administrative contact when other managers are not present. The position offers a sign-on bonus based on experience with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin licensed Registered Nurse.
• CPR/BLS certification (a plus).
• Minimum of 2 years' supervision/leadership experience.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in long-term care.
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Must demonstrate sound judgment, maturity and emotional stability.
• Mobility to stand or move about the Health Care Center during shifts.
• Ability to respond quickly in emergencies across Luther Manor campus.
• Physical strength to move or assist residents as required.
• Knowledge of HFS132 Regulation.

Luther Manor is seeking a PT 3rd shift and FT 2nd shift RN Nurse Supervisor

Our full-time opening is eligible for a sign on bonus based on experience.

As the Nurse Supervisor for our Skilled Nursing Unit, you will coordinate nursing services and monitor the health status of the residents on the unit to ensure the residents are healthy, safe and well-cared for. The Nurse Supervisor will direct, supervise, and coordinate the provision of nursing services to residents on assigned shifts while supervising nursing personnel. This person will function as the administrative contact person in the absence of other managers.

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin licensed Registered Nurse
• CPR/BLS Certified, a plus will certify
• Knowledge and experience in supervision, minimum of 2 years' experience preferred
• Knowledge of current professional theory and practice, minimum of 2 years of experience in long term care.
• Good communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Must demonstrate sound judgment, maturity and emotional stability in dealing with residents and staff.
• The mobility to spend the majority of work shift standing or moving about the Health Care Center.
• The mobility to respond quickly in emergency situations in all areas of the Luther Manor campus.
• The physical strength to move or assist residents as required in emergency situations in all areas of the Luther Manor campus
• Knowledge of HFS132 Regulation
