Job summary

Lutheran Home is seeking a Nursing Unit Manager (RN) to lead the day-to-day operations of the long-term care unit and ensure residents receive quality care and exceptional customer service.

The Unit Manager will support and guide nurses and nursing assistants, fostering a collaborative environment and aligning with our mission and 4 C's. This full-time role requires Monday–Friday hours, with no holidays or on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Wisconsin is required.
• Experience working with seniors; 1-2 years in supervision preferred.
• Ability to develop professional relationships with staff; familiarity with charting systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the long-term care unit to ensure quality care and excellent service.
• Provide support and direction to nurses and nursing assistants.

Job description

Lutheran Home is seeking a Nursing Unit Manager (RN) to join our team! The Unit Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of the long-term care unit to ensure our residents are receiving quality care and excellent customer service. The Unit Manager will provide support and direction to our nurses and nursing assistants. Interested candidates should be motivated and goal-oriented leaders dedicated to our mission and "4 C's."

Hours for the position are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. No holidays and no on-call hours!

Salary Range:

$90,000.00 To $100,000.00 Annually

Requirements for the position:

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Wisconsin
• Prior experience working as a nurse with the senior population; 1 - 2 years supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to develop and nurture professional and educational relationships with staff members
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with resident/patient charting systems
