Job summary

HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital in Port St. Lucie, FL seeks an RN Nurse Manager Progressive Care to lead daily operations, staffing, and patient flow, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.

You will partner with interdisciplinary teams, mentor nurses, and uphold unit standards, policies, and outcomes while driving improvements in patient safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse (or Compact Licensure) and ongoing eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a full-time Charge Nurse/Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nursing Management in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily function and staffing of the Progressive Care unit.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care in line with policies and achieve quality outcomes.
• Lead patient safety initiatives and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
• Bachelors Degree from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care Hospital setting
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a full time Charge Nurse/ Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nursing Management in an acute care Hospital setting
