Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital seeks an RN Director Progressive Care to provide executive leadership for the PCU, guiding patient-centered care, staffing, and operational planning. You will forecast needs, monitor budgets, and drive strategy in a dynamic acute care setting.

The role emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and adherence to policies to meet hospital objectives and deliver exceptional outcomes for patients and families.

Qualifications

• BSN required; Master's degree in Nursing, Business, or Health related field preferred.
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation(if multistate license, must change primary state of residence within 90 days) required
• BLS required
• 5+ years of applicable experience required; 2+ years of management/leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Director PCU ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the unit's overall function and staffing, forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring.
• Fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Leads nursing leadership to achieve facility objectives.
