Job description

We are seeking an experienced RN Nurse Manager for an intensive care unit (ICU) at a Magnet® designated hospital. This full-time leadership role involves overseeing a 28-bed ICU caring for Medical, Surgical, Cardiovascular, and Neurological patients.

• Lead and manage nursing staff, ensuring delivery of high-quality patient care across multiple units with over 80 FTEs.
• Responsible for administrative duties, staffing, and operational oversight on a 24-hour basis.
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for diverse age groups, including infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Collaborate with an Assistant Nurse Manager and foster a culture of excellence and mutual respect.
• Qualifications include a California RN license, a bachelor's degree or in progress, recent clinical experience, and Basic Life Support certification. Neonatal Resuscitation Certification is required if working in L&D, NICU, Nursery, or Postpartum.
• Preferred candidates have nursing management experience and a strong background in critical care nursing.
