Job summary

University Health & Rehabilitation Center seeks an experienced Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing staff and daily activities during assigned shifts. You will ensure care delivery adheres to policies, regulatory standards, and quality care goals, while coordinating with other resident services for seamless care.

The role requires RN licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and 2+ years of clinical nursing with preferred management/geriatrics experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Nursing preferred and active RN license.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience required; management experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification is required; peripheral IV certification is desirable.
• Experience with geriatrics/subacute populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily nursing care and staff performance per policies.
• Plan and conduct shift staff meetings to improve service quality.
• Identify care delivery problems and implement corrective actions.
• Report to Nursing Director on issues and recommendations.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident care areas for continuity.
