Job summary

Crestwyn Behavioral Health Hospital in the Memphis, TN area is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to assist the DON/CNO in directing nursing operations. You will oversee the delivery of behavioral health nursing services and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet residents’ needs in a safe, compliant environment.

The role demands leadership, staffing, compliance, and reporting responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and quality of care in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher strongly preferred.
• Current registered nursing license in State of facility required.
• Three years as a registered nurse strongly preferred.
• Two years of registered nursing experience required.
• Two years of prior experience as a registered nursing with patient population of the facility is preferred.
• One year of prior experience with the population required.
• One year of charge RN or other administrative experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the DON/CNO with directing, planning, coordinating, monitoring and supervising the effective and efficient use of the operations of nursing.
• Oversees the delivery of behavioral health/nursing services with a positive, empathetic attitude toward customers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams and administration to meet residents' needs.
• Provide leadership to assure compliance with regulations and nursing practice standards.
• Recruit, hire and train new staff.
• Prepare reports to inform management of status and programs.
