Job summary

Victoria Crossing Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical leadership team in Brandon, FL. This role focuses on resident-centered care and supporting the DON/ADON to manage daily operations and uphold quality standards.

The ideal candidate has an active Florida RN license, at least 2 years of SNF experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida.
• Minimum 2 years of SNF experience.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON and ADON with daily nursing operations.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Address and escalate staff concerns or grievances promptly.
• Monitor staffing levels and help optimize scheduling to reduce overtime and agency usage.
• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary processes as needed.
• Foster teamwork and maintain a positive, collaborative unit environment.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives, budget planning, and committees.
• Oversee MDS coordination and coordinate discharge planning with families and care teams.
• Ensure residents receive compassionate, individualized care.
