Job summary

Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a RN Staff Development Coordinator for St Anthony's Healthcare. A minimum of 1 year of long-term care experience is required.

The Nurse Educator will orient and educate nursing staff, develop education programs, supervise orientation, and conduct competency testing in accordance with federal and facility guidelines. Competitive benefits and a salary range of 83,200 to 93,600 USD per year.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN license.
Minimum three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience preferred.
Two years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing with one year as an educator preferred.

Responsibilities

Orient and educate all nursing personnel in the center.
Develop education programs in response to staff needs and teach current practices.
Supervise and monitor new nursing employees during orientation.
Perform annual competency testing and evaluate nursing staff performance.
Oversee Employee Health Program including TB/hepatitis vaccines and influenza immunizations.
