Job summary

Always Compassionate Home Care in Glendale, Queens, seeks a bilingual Spanish-speaking Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Educator. This evening schedule runs Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, providing a meaningful opportunity to educate and mentor future home health aides.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of RN experience, with at least one year in home care, a NYS RN license, BLS, malpractice insurance, and other professional credentials.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of RN experience.
• At least one year of RN experience in home care.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Current New York State RN License & Registration.
• Malpractice Insurance
• NPI Number
• Physical and QuantiFERON testing completed within the past year.
• MMR titers or proof of immunity within the past ten years.
• Two professional references.
• Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach the New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Curriculum at an HHA Training Institute.
