MaineGeneral Health is adding a second CNA Instructor to our Rehab & Long-Term Care team. We’re looking for an experienced RN who is passionate about teaching, mentoring, and sharing their clinical knowledge with students beginning their healthcare careers.

This is a per diem opportunity for an RN who wants to make a meaningful impact beyond the bedside. You will develop teaching outlines, monitor student progress, and collaborate to ensure safe practices across classroom, lab, and clinical

Qualifications

• Active Maine RN license or ability to obtain promptly.
• Minimum of 2 years as an RN.
• Minimum of 1 year in a Long-Term Care facility.
• Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for teaching, mentoring and helping others succeed.

Responsibilities

• Works with academic and administrative leadership to assess needs and objectives and develop solutions.
• Develops teaching outlines and selects/creates teaching aids and activities.
• Monitors students' progress and provides resources; ensures safe practices in classroom, lab and clinical settings.
• Supervises students, tracks attendance and skill completion per state requirements.
