Elderwood Administrative Services seeks an RN Nurse Aide Program Instructor to lead nursing education and credentialed training at our facilities in New York. You will oversee orientation, clinical teaching, and competency assessment, shaping clinical practice and resident care standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with nursing leadership, program development, and ongoing staff development, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care across the Elderwood network.

Qualifications

• Current license as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a long-term healthcare facility.
• Experience providing in-service education or clinical teaching.
• Ability to teach, coach, and mentor employees.
• Experience with electronic medical records and learning management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead orientation for licensed nurses, CNAs, and support staff.
• Plan and deliver clinical education and competency testing.
• Coordinate CNA orientation programs and testing activities.
• Coordinate and oversee direct clinical practice education and documentation.
• Maintain education calendars, LMS records, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate employee health education, immunization readiness, and clinical training.
