Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certificate upon hire and kept current.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and kept current.
• One year supervisory experience preferred.
• Minimum of three years acute care nursing experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, on shift, administrative functions for all department services.
• Monitors delivery of care and directs patient care activities as needed.
• Supervises staff hospital-wide and coordinates with admin during gaps.
• Ensures efficient operations and patient flow throughout the hospital.
• Assists with scheduling after-hours procedures and standby staff.
• Improves patient/family experience through explanations of hospital policies.
