Job summary

SNF Rehab & Healthcare in Tinton Falls, NJ is seeking an RN Nursing Supervisor for the overnight shift (11p–7am). The role oversees total resident care, directs nursing units, and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, facility policies, and professional standards.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited nursing degree, current NJ RN license, and supervisory experience in long-term care.

Qualifications

• RN, registered nurse with active NJ license.
• Supervisory or leadership experience in long-term care.
• Experience coordinating total resident care and staffing.

Responsibilities

• Verify daily staffing and redistribution as needed.
• Collaborate with charge nurses to share resident-care information.
• Conduct rounds to assess resident conditions, especially critically ill.
• Ensure care plans are followed for each resident.
• Perform medication passes and provide direct care as needed.
• Participate in resident care committee meetings.
• Train and orient nursing staff; provide positive reinforcement.
• Respond to emergencies throughout shift; manage changes in condition.
• Maintain safe, sanitary environment for residents and staff.
• Secure building during evening and night hours per policy.
• Review incident/investigation reports for accuracy.
• Monitor meal service; address issues affecting satisfaction/nutrition.
• Support Quality Improvement initiatives in the facility.
• Ensure high-quality service respecting residents' needs and rights.
• Perform other duties as requested.
