Job summary

Laurel Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an RN Supervisor for part-time evening/overnight shifts in a 215-bed sub-acute and long-term care facility. You will provide clinical leadership, supervise nursing staff, and ensure regulatory compliance to promote high-quality resident care.

The role requires an active NJ RN license, BLS CPR, and 4+ years of nursing experience with 2+ years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in New Jersey.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced setting.
• Minimum 4+ years of nursing experience; minimum 2 years of supervisor experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; knowledge of applicable laws and standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families about changes in condition or needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork and leadership.
