Job summary

Avalon Rehab and Care Center is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor for the 11 PM–7 AM overnight shift to lead the nursing team and ensure safe, compassionate care for residents overnight.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, guiding RNs/LPNs/CNAs, coordinating interventions, and ensuring compliance with standards. A New Jersey RN license and prior supervisory experience are preferred.

• Excellent communication and clinical decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff during the overnight shift.
• Provide clinical guidance to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Monitor resident care and ensure nursing services meet established standards.
• Respond to changes in resident condition and coordinate interventions.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and resident assessments as needed.
• Ensure medications, documentation, and procedures are completed accurately.
• Promote compliance with policies, regulations, and quality-of-care standards.
• Serve as a visible nursing leader for the overnight team.
