Job summary

Venetian Care and Rehabilitation is seeking an RN Supervisor for a full-time, 7 pm–7 am shift (every other weekend) in New Jersey. This 180-bed sub-acute and long-term care facility emphasizes compassionate, high-quality resident care and leadership that supports daily nursing operations.

You will supervise nursing care, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor staff to promote safe, effective treatment and optimal resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active New Jersey RN license.
• Valid BLS CPR certification.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• No prior supervisory experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.
