Job summary
AdventHealth in Davenport, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift to provide comprehensive patient assessments and individualized care plans. You will administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care.
The role requires an Associate's in Nursing, with a Bachelor’s preferred, and an active RN license plus BLS certification.
Qualifications
- RN license required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS/CCRN/other advanced certifications preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological and psychosocial domains.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocols.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
- Document patient information and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
- Respond to code situations and stabilize patients as needed.
