Job summary

AdventHealth Davenport is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift to provide comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care aligned with standards.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in Nursing with RN licensure, BLS; ACLS preferred and 1+ year in acute care.

Qualifications

Associate's of Nursing is required.
Bachelor's of Nursing is preferred.
1+ acute care hospital setting experience required.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
