Job summary

AdventHealth in Davenport, FL seeks a skilled RN to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans that reflect individual needs. You will administer medications and therapies, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, effective treatment.

This full-time role requires Florida RN licensure and BLS certification, with potential for growth through ongoing professional development and performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Florida or eligible for licensure.
• BLS certification required for patient care.
• 1+ year of acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, revising as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and communication.
• Document patient information, care activities, and outcomes accurately.
• Respond to code situations promptly and support stabilization.
