Qualified candidates hold a BSN, an Illinois RN license, and BLS certification, with strong communication and critical thinking skills to provide compassionate obstetric care in a fast-paced unit.

Qualifications

• BSN is required and IL Registered Nurse license (or eligibility) is required.
• BLS certification is required by American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan of care considering age-specific factors.
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patient and family and assist with discharge planning.
• Administer medications and document interventions accurately.
• Monitor patient response and adjust care accordingly.
• Communicate changes in patient status to the team.
