Job summary

Good Samaritan – Bethany in Brainerd, Minnesota, is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide individualized care using the nursing process across all care stages. Night shifts run 4:00pm to 4:30am, with a full-time schedule (72 hours bi-weekly) and weekend rotations.

You will collaborate with residents, families, and a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care. The role may serve as charge nurse and requires maintaining competencies and certifications while delivering high-quality

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Current unencumbered RN license in the State of Minnesota.
• Maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process for residents.
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary teams to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate resident care, assessments, education and interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to staff.
• Ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and address concerns.
