Job summary

Good Samaritan – Bethany in Brainerd, MN is seeking a licensed RN for the long term care unit. The role involves utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborating with residents, families and interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement and evaluate outcomes.

Cares for residents across preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis and treatment. The RN will coordinate care, supervise licensed and unlicensed staff as needed, and ensure safe, high-quality nursing

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Current unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Ability to coordinate care and provide resident education.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education and other nursing interventions.
