Job summary

The Armada Recovery team in Akron, OH is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our detox unit for overnight shifts. You will provide direct nursing care, monitor withdrawal, administer medications, and uphold patient safety in a high-acuity overnight environment.

Ideal candidates hold an active Ohio RN license and current BLS, with the ability to work independently overnight. Experience in detox or behavioral health is preferred, with strong clinical judgment and precise

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours.
• Strong assessment and clinical judgement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing detoxification.
• Monitor withdrawal symptoms using CIWA/COWS and perform routine vital signs.
• Administer medications per detox protocols and monitor effects.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation in the EMR and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Respond to overnight emergencies and maintain a safe, quiet overnight environment.
