Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the John Brooks Recovery Center in Mays Landing. The role involves working across medical detox, residential units, or long-term units under multidisciplinary leadership, focusing on safe withdrawal management and patient care.

The position requires an NJ RN license (BSN preferred), BLS, CPI training within 6 months, and at least 1 year of nursing experience with a preference for behavioral health or SUD treatment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey or current multi state license required.
• BLS Required; CPI required within 6 months of hire or transfer and continuously maintained after.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per treatment plan and protocols.
• Perform wound care interventions as ordered and in collaboration with wound care clinics.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques for behavioral health care needs.
• Maintain medication rooms and documentation of med administration.
• Assist physicians and APPs with client evaluations and documentation.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with state/federal regulations.
