Job summary

Summa Health System – Akron Campus is seeking an RN for the Detox Unit (4E). This full-time role (36 hrs/week) runs from 7 p.m.

to 7:30 a.m., with every other weekend and holiday, on a 14-bed unit focused on adult alcohol and chemical dependency detoxification. Requirements include ADN with BSN preferred, Ohio RN license, ACLS, and 1 year of relevant RN experience for weekend options; a 12-month nurse residency is available for new grads.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• CCNE or ACEN accreditation for nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN license to practice nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide, coordinates and/or delegates nursing care and manage resources.
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients, families and communities.
• Support trauma-informed, patient-centered care on a detox unit.
