Job summary

Advocate Health’s pediatric ER in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an experienced RN for a Level One Pediatric Trauma Emergency Department. You will provide and coordinate nursing care for children from birth to 18, with 12-hour night shifts and a 36-hour weekly schedule.

ACLS/PALS required within 6 months; ED/critical care experience preferred. Candidates must complete an accredited nursing program, hold an RN license, and maintain BLS.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• At least 6 months of RN experience (not for new graduates).
• Registered Nurse license in the practicing state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association).
• ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care following established standards and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
